The Wagnell Family
Joe and Esther are missionaries with Africa Inland Mission. They are currently serving with AIM AIR in Nairobi, Kenya. Joe is an avionics technician and works in an FAA certified Repair Station (the Radio Base) in AIM AIR's hangar at Wilson Airport, Wilson Airport is a busy airport serving the East African Region. Esther is a full time Mom and as well as the Projects Coordinator for ABS (Africa Based Services), the administrative arm under which AIM AIR falls.
Joe was born in San Diego in 1978, but spent his early childhood growing up in Kenya, Nairobi, where his Dad was a pilot for AIM AIR. At 18, Joe joined the Navy and became and Electonics Technician. Esther was born in Currais Novos, Brasil in December of 1979. Her parents were missionaries there until they returned to the USA when Esther was 16 after serving 35 years. Benjamin was born in San Diego, CA on May 21, 2007. He is an easy-going but active child who loves to be around people and aims to please. He loves to run around outside and play inside with toys, especially Legos. He demonstrates a very analytical, yet creative and artistic mind....more
Ezri was born in San Diego, CA on October 16, 2009. She is wildly energetic but also loves to cuddle and be held. She is constantly talking, although not always intelligibly. She loves to play (and aggravate) her older brother....more
Kezia Lily Wagnell was born in Nairobi, Kenya on July 24th, 2012. Kezia was born with dark black hair which fell out and came back in blonde and curly. She has a lot of energy, enjoys playing out side, and loves to play in the water. She is not as adventurous as her big sister, and tends to be a little more cautious.... more
Ethan Joseph Wagnell was born in San Diego, California on December 19th, 2014. As of this writing, he is only six months old, so we don't have lot to say about him just yet. But, we know that he does not like to spend all day traveling in his car seat. He is very happy when we take him out of his seat. He has been a real trooper and has been an easy traveler, despite his dislike for the car seat....more
